All our adult sessions are open to everyone both members and non members.
For new juveniles please come along to any one of our sessions and speak with one of our coaches. There is no need to prearrange this.
All our sessions are insured, lead by qualified Garda vetted coaches, and adhere fully to Athletics Ireland Code of Ethics for child protection
This session concentrates on proper warm up and cool down. There are also exercises to strengthen your core as well as some speed work. All these elements work towards building stamina and strength. The group is split in two with the first group suitable for complete beginners looking to learn more about running surrounded by people of your own ability. There is also a slightly harder group for improvers.
This training class concentrates specifically on XC Training. Training is at the WIT Arena and prepares Athletes for Cross Country season.
Suitable for Ages U9 to U16 years of age
Training covers all aspects of athletics from throws, jumps, and track. Suitable for ages U9 and above.
Available for those not taking part in the XC Training Sessions at the WIT Arena
Extra event specific coaching is organised by coaches to prepare for upcoming events
The session is for Juniors, Seniors and Masters and aimed at those taking part in Cross Country, and other distance runs, up to Marathon.
This training class concentrates specifically on XC Training. Training is at the WIT Arena and prepares Athletes for Cross Country season.

XC/Distance training session for those competing in XC and distance race season.
Starts from Portlaw wood car park 6pm
Currently not in operation - Will return at a later date if possible
Where: WIT ArenaA circuit training class lead by a qualified instructor to help improve strength, endurance, and prevent future injuries.
Session is aimed at young people and concentrates on fun. Suitable for ages U6 to U8.
A club tempo session from the Carriganore Greenway carpark designed to help you improve your race times Warm up beforehand & be ready to go at 9.30am
Sunday Long Run Session on the Waterford Greenway from the Killoteran carpark. Please be ready warmed up and ready to start at 10.00am
